Back in the Land of the Z1

#1 PostAuthor: Haggler » Thu Sep 21, 2017 2:32 am

Hi, just signed up. I have recently returned to Z1 ownership (Z1R to be precise) I last owned one of these when I met my Mrs in 1985. Thought I wouldn't be able to get another as prices too rich for me but fell on this one which was only 7 miles from me. Needs paint and a bit of TLC but is on the road so will look to improve over the winter.

This was my original one back in the day

Hopefully get to some Z1 meets :D

Small world........there we are meeting up thinking we are both kettle lovers and all the time not realising we are actually zed heads. ......although I'm between zeds at the moment until the Dunstallgets sold.
I look forward to seeing the R when you have polished it up.

Very nice, I liked the Z1R back when I had dark brown hair and a porn star tache and still do like them, even though most of it is now grey and the tache has long since gone..........

That's the main job for the winter getting original paint match and giving the bodywork a refresh :)
