John Brookes Z1 Book

#1 PostAuthor: Z1Steve » Mon Feb 25, 2019 12:57 am

Hi,

My name is Steve Huffman. I have recently started a new Z1 resto project. I have been told that John Brooks' Z1 Restoration book is invaluable to use during the resto process. Unfortunately, having contacted John, himself, he no longer has any copies of the book to sell. He suggested that perhaps there might be someone on this forum who would sell me their copy or provide me with info on where I might obtain a copy.

Anything you could offer would be much appreciated! :wink

Hi Steve
welcome to the club!
Great to know that another Z1 is going to be restored.
I have the book and i can guaranty you it's very interesting! I'm not going to sell it but if you want information I'll be more than happy to give you the information you need.
Post some pictures of your bike, we all love to see pictures.
Greetings from Belgium

Chris Rooke (Rookey on this forum) has a new book out that is very useful in this regard, although it’s more of a practical guide than a rivet counters check list. Review is in the new club yearbook (going out this week) and I will also post it on here after everyone has got their yearbooks

I bought this book and it's a great supplement to other material.
