I have looked at this forum many times and it looks like a great place to be.. So now I have registered and am a newby here.
After a lot of years riding I realise the bike I really want is a Z1. Back in the 70's I couldn't afford a Kawasaki Z1, but a friend of mine could. He bought a new green and yellow Z1 in 1973, registration TJJ 90M. I didn't own it, but quite often I used to borrow it. It was a wonderful bike and very much the boss in its day. I couldn't afford one then, but I can now. I have looked at the new Z900rs, which is lovely, but I am actively looking at Z1's right now.... Pleased to meet you all!

Welcome...
Lots of helpful owners and advice on here - so take FULL advantage of it. There are a million and one 'Restored' Z1's for sale, but some are not quite the lovingly restored & cherished bikes the adverts would have you believe, so if you spot a possible purchase always worth a post here to get a second opinion.
Also, Might be worth an advert in the wanted section as always better to buy from a club member rather than the circling Sharks on ebay etc.
Enjoy.

Welcome along. like Gary says, also as you sound like you’re planning to ride it might be a plan to try and find one you know is actually being used
