Thanks, mates.

Next one is my fits-anytime-everywhere bike, GPZ1100B2.
She good on events (rarely a second one is already there), daily use and on tour

My favourite old-school Kawasaki. Has that classic Kawasaki look and the 2V aircooled engine, but lots of power, reasonable brakes and handles good. No wobble on high speed.

Not 100% stock as the purists will note.

Just been on tour with the Z-Club Germany this weekend

Does anyone know what that seat is? Came with the bike when I bought her.

Hello Uli, from another B2 owner. That is a very nice one you have there and so clean ! I would say the seat is an original that has been cut down and recovered to look like an ELR replica and what you have now is from a B1.

Hi Richard,

Is B2 seat different to B1?

Pic from the B2 sales brochure.

You are right, Richard.

Is that the final version of a B2 seat?

This one on E-bay looks different:

Here is my B2 seat . It looks the same as the eBay one . I have never seen a different original seat on a B2 but I wouldn't worry yours looks fine as it is .

Thanks for info.

When I come across a perfect B2 seat I will swap.

That seat in the B2 brocure looks to be a "prototype". Same with the oil cooler in red.

Hi Uli
once again a beautiful bike!
I would like to have one like that in my collection, perhaps someday who knows...

Thanks, Philippe.

I first saw one when I was a student 1983 in Paris. At Kawasaki Etoille. Picked up a sales brochure there that i still have.

They are becoming rare.
I found her by accident when I was picking up parts for another project.

That's the one and looks like a very good one at that. You didn't take long to find it , it's taken me years to find all the parts I was looking for for my B2 !
