Spot the new bloke.

#1 PostAuthor: Johnty » Sat Jan 16, 2021 6:59 pm

Evening Folks,
My name is John, I live near Wolverhampton. I have a few miles on my clock, and have had my fair share of bikes along the way. Around 18 months ago I was driven by sheer lust to buy A Kawasaki CSR 1000. Obviously I was not familiar with that model, other than it reminded me of the Z1000 LTD that I drooled over in the 70's, also i was quite taken by the spoked wheels. It's in Good original condition (apart from the levers) and i intend to keep it that way. She's a joy to ride, and can't wait to get her out again. I would be nice to talk to other Z enthusiasts, seek advice, find good parts suppliers etc.
Being a rider more than a polisher, it would be good to meet up with other members. (Is there a Midland section?) I do have a couple of older Brit bikes to keep her company in the Garage. Keep Safe!

Nice bike. Hello and welcome, from sunny Bournemouth. I'm sure there's a few folk in the midlands, who'll be along.

Hello, Good Evening and Welcome from sunny Chandler's Ford (well it was sunny today just for once).

Not sure if there are other bikes in the Midlands as I'm not sure whether technology has reached that far north yet (I'm originally a Londoner) :rir
