Back from the proverbial
Finally retired and sorting some old boxes came across Z1 OC mag from 2011. Seemed rude not to rejoin now back in UK. Still got the Z1000 ST but she's been on SORN since going abroad in 2012; perhaps silver lining of lockdown is a chance to get her back on the road again if I can find some parts. Anyway, Hello all!

Needs correct headlight mounts, headlight (the one on US but passed MOT few years back with bodge tape) and prefer a 4-2 exhaust which my first Z1000st had back in 1991. That had Gilera seat so ordered one for this but didn't read advert enough to notice was in white!

welcome back, you won't be needing any more mot's or road tax fees now. bobtheseat on ebay can re-do the seat or just supply you with a cover using yours as a pattern. good luck m

Welcome back - new re-joiner here too!
Keep the pics coming as you go through the refurb - it's always good to see another Zed being put back on the road.

Hi 79shaft
good to see that others also adore the ST. Fabulous bike, no nonsense, give her oil and fuel and she rides like a train on a track !
Welcome back to the club!
