Re: Hello everyone
Ooh nice 1100ST! Takes me back to my days working for a Kawasaki dealer in the early eighties.
My brother in law had one back then. See photo of a typical day at home back then... (I reckon most on here like the old pics - I do have quite a few that scanned better than this one).
Z1100-A1, Z750-L2 (mine), Z750-E1 with L bodywork, Z650-B1 or B2 with F2 bodywork...

Re: Hello everyone
Absolutely brilliant, rides like a brand new bike, Igor did a good job over in Germany with this bike, there is nothing else to say. Looking forward to warm and dry days to come
Hope to see some of you out there soon.

That is a really nice looking bike you’ve got there! Very nice!
Re: Hello everyone
A bit like ours back in the day, my modified Z1000J, mates GPz750 twin shocker, a GT750 and a GS1000, happy days. It was even more fun when at the Vulcan pub in Blackburn when a couple of the lads had a GPz1100 Unitrack out too, complete with twin headlamp full fairing and another had the 750 Unitrack. Pity we have no photos, never took a camera to the pub.

Bloody hell forgot about the vulcan !
Our teacher from the college took us in at dinnertime once or twice ,
What an "atmosphere" ------- we were all semi-stoned when we left !

Last time I passed Settle on the bypass with my daughter on-board 13 years ago on the GSXr 750 I got pulled for speeding too.
That looks like a lovely bike and restored by one of the best. I'm seriously considering getting one for plodding about with the missus on the back.
I don't go on the bypass I go through Settle to go up and over the whoop-do-woo.

Igor was recently advertising a brand new Z1100ST, never been ridden or PDIed, bought for display in a house. I think he was asking around £15k for it but it is brand new 40 years old.
Looking forward to a run out to Settle as soon as we can explore again

Lovely, but no way I'd pay £15k for one!

Re: Hello everyone
I am pleased to be here and it is very helpful.
Recently I have had two sets of choke plungers updated with Viton (one set fitted, the second set is for my other Zed when it becomes necessary) which have sorted the rich running on my ‘77 Z1000.
I’d like to give a shout out for the service supplied by zed1015 which is second to none in my opinion.
The plungers are unmarked by this upgrade and are returned at the speed of light.
Many thanks for helping.
