Hello everybody, just introducing myself as requested.
Have a usa z1a a recent lockdown present to myself nearly two years ago, needed a lot of work but up and running now, love it!
Also have uk z650b1 which I have owned for many years and a very early rd350 currently under construction. Am on the south coast just east of portsmouth.
Pic shows my z1 in background and a mates z900 in the foreground. This is the Welsh coast, did a mad 800 mile mini tour of some of Wales over two days about 2 months ago. Apart from a carb flooding, (dirt on valve, easily sorted), the Z ran faultlessly even on the occasional tank of e10. Glorious weather, fab roads, beautiful country, will be going back!

Er yes the spray paint on my number plate, I was told there were a lot of speed cameras in South Wales so I went prepared
Great to hear a couple of club members are close by, the old Zeds appear to be lurking in garages everywhere! I need to sort out joining the club but as am member of aircooled rd club and vjmc I need to slim down a bit and drop one when membership comes up as all three would be a bit expensive! Quite like the look of the newish z900rs, passed one the other day coming towards me, same colour as mine, saw him in the mirror doing a U turn and when he caught up gestured that we should get a photo of them together, I nodded but missread what he was on about, he turned off but I didn't follow, however stopped when my aged brain realised and doubled back, sadly he was gone, so apologies if it was you and by some chance you read this!
