Hi all, just joined up, thanks for allowing me on to the forum. My first proper big bike was a Z1000 mk2. This was back in 1983 and I was a reckless 19 year old! I have found a few old photos of my old bike so happy to post and if the present owner is on here happy to share them. The reg number was ONX 321W, good to know its still out there being enjoyed!

Thanks, I’ve currently got a GSXR1000 K6, also restoring an XT500. Love riding my Hodna Z50R too. I remember selling the MK2 after riding a GSXR750G and a GPz900. Those bikes moved the game on so much that the Zed felt old. Would be good to have another but the price and rarity probably means it won’t happen.

Hi all, I hadn’t anticipated getting a mk2 again. I couldn’t resist this very modified mk2. It rides very well, full credit to Dave who built it, he’s done a great job. My plans are to enjoy it as it is for now.

I just joined up as a full member, looking forward to attending shows and meet ups.
