Hello everyone, thanks for having me.
After a lull in zed activity, I find I have the time and space to resurrect my J. It was subject to a bit of work at Grumpy1260 a few years ago, but after some summer use it - shamefully - hasn't been used for a while. I'm currently working on fitting a set of GSXRJ 3 spoke wheels (so expect lot's of 'help' posts about wheel spacing etc), fixing some of the things that have niggled me and getting it presentable.
Also, just for kicks I've attached a picture of a blast from my past - my Magnum 1, with z1000mk2 motor at Knockhill in 1990(ish) . Built with help from Specials in Glasgow. I'm think I saw it somewhere in this forum a good few years ago, looking sorry for itself and getting rebuilt, but that might be my memory playing tricks. Cheers.

Hello Pete, thanks for the welcome - from not so sunny Lockerbie. Sorry for the delay in replying, zed business has had to take a back seat recently.

No, I haven’t got the GSXR wheels fitted yet, my head is spinning with straight edges, bits of string and offset sprocketsjules wrote:Hi and welcome in! Has Ian bought those wheels yet?/!!!
