I joined the club at the Stafford show and have purchased an exhaust from the for sale ads. Just thought it was time I introduced my self and figured out how to post a new topic. I have just started to overhaul my Z1000 J2 for the third time in 40 years. The bike has had a few different appearances in that time. This overhaul was bought on by many years of bad storage in a damp garage then seeing an immaculate
one at Stafford on the club stand (black and gold one).
Looking forward years of membership. Now going to try and attach some photos.

Photo with red seat was taken about 1985 after a couple of heavy winters and the second one was actually taken in Belgium about 1987 returning from Spa Francochamps GP.
