The eagle eyed amongst you will spot that although it is an A1 model, the forks have ben reversed to make it look like an A2, with the calipers behind the fork legs. I will return them back to normal during the refurb.

The calipers are better behind the forks legs much more sensible place for them that’s why Kawasaki eventually did it - I’d leave them there unless you want to be really pedantic…

Nice bike, I had a Z1000a2, and it was a fantastic bike.
Traded it in for a J2 in 1982 and got £700 [what a mistake that was].

Nice Z1000 those wheels are worth quite a few pounds say about 1600 to 2000

I also have the orginal spoked wheels, which will be getting refurbished over the winter and refitted to the bike. I may sell the alloys after that.
