hi everybody anyone on the site have a1982 1000r elr with a factory untouched tank..are the tank stripes painted on and the tail/ and fairing stripes were stickers. thanx in advance.. :?? :??

I guess you mean the 1000R1 Lawson which had the stripes running along the bottom of the tank ??
In Europe we only had the 1000R2 model which had the stripes higher up,
running through the tank badges.

As far as I know,the European 1000R2 and 1100R1 had decals.

thanx guys i guess they were stickers with clear coat over them.mine is all paint so its been redone at some time thanx
