Z1 Owners Club stand at Silverstone

#1 PostAuthor: tedsonthezed » Tue May 15, 2012 12:48 pm

Kawasaki have asked me to man a Z1OC stand at the Silverstone location of the Test Ride Summer Tour on 26th May.

http://www.kawasaki.co.uk/ontheroad

This is in support of their Z40 Anniversary promotion. I have so far confirmed three bikes for an indoor stand where we can speak to anybody who's interested about our love for zeds and our club. Ideally I'd like a couple more bikes and a couple of volunteers to help on the day to promote the club and sell regalia. Kawasaki will pay your fuel, buy your lunch and you can test ride any of the machines present on the day (you'll need to pre-book). If you've got a Z1R, Kawasaki would particularly like you to attend.

Please pm me if you can help in any way.

I suspect my Z1R won't be quite what they're looking for!

Really sorry Ted, I'd love to be there but I'm pre-booked on a weekend in Devon with the grandkids, and I'm not brave enough to confront an eight year old and a five year old!!!!

do? (yes it's bedlow1's oldun somewhat tarted up; not a 100% resto but I'd say in the high 90's).

If anyone else offers then go for it... otherwise I'll see what I can do.

Blimey - lots of offers of help and bikes. Thanks one and all for your replies and PMs.

Ruffle, if you're happy for Kawasaki to uplift your bike (as they are doing with a couple of others) then your attendance isn't 100% required - and I've had quite a few offers of help as well.

I'll pm you seperately regarding your offer.

Bikes pretty much sorted now Guys; just got to sort out some logistics. Thanks for all the offers of bikes and help, it's much appreciated. I'll confirm with a couple of you who volunteered to help in a couple of days.
