Regulator Rectifier

Hi all looking for some technical help with a regulator rectifier I have recently purchased from z power for my z1000 a1. I have a query with the black wire, is this to go to earth or directly to the battery? I have a spare Black and yellow that I can connect it too

Help would be very appreciated.

Earth or battery negative,they are at the same potential.I think it is designed to to to the engine earth bolt as the black wire comes provided with a ring terminal crimped on.
