Carb rubber question

#1 PostAuthor: Is Vic There » Tue Mar 04, 2014 7:29 am

When you use a bank of carbs from a GSXR where is the best place to buy the carb rubbers to fit them to the head?

Z1000j rubbers are used for bigger carbs for the z900 style heads.
Z-power sell them, or z1 enterprises.

You wouldn't know the I/D of the 1000j rubbers?

I measured the O/D of the carbs, however then had visitors and drank my body weight in beer and didn't write them Dow but am sure they were 50mm!

Best I measure them again this weekend!

Well, the answer is a set of GPZ1100/Z1000J/R inlet rubbers ending in -1135. These have a round lip on the inside, whereas the -1131 have a square lip, which seals badly on carbs and is intended for certain FI-models. :D
