If it helps I have both GPz headlight mounts and the connecting piece that goes between both fork legs (the missing 22mm). I too went through a long search to find the right parts and bought these as a fix. I then found the right ones from an eBay seller in Denmark so they are surplus. I think I even got them plastic coated in satin black ready to use.

It's different. The R2 is longer by 22mm at the bottom. I've bought 2 GPz1100 brackets for one of my R2s and I'm going to take them to a sheet metalworker to extend.
Last pair if R2 brackets I saw were £300 and no longer for sale. Been looking for ages so decided to check the GPz ones in the end. Exactly the same other than that.

Just saw Martins post and that seems like a good option IMO.
