Jerry reckons there may be enough support within the Club to make Uttoxeter and Bucks on the same weekend work. We are committed to an official club strand at Uttoxeter and need a better showing than last time. Santa Pod's geographically very close to Bucks though. Maybe that's where the run-out should go if there's enough interest rather than competing...

Santa Pod Retro Show 2007 past event

#13 PostAuthor: Al » Fri Jan 25, 2008 11:46 pm

If you go to the retro show link at first post above and click on '2007 gallery' you can see nitrous Mark on his Z1R a couple of lines above Andy's photo (he's the one all in black) who built his bike over 20 years ago and is still thrashing it at below ten seconds to this day. He and Andy Z1R had the track effectively to 'themselves' all day and ran against each other for the entire time with mixed success. As soon as Andy has edited the video footage (to make it look like he won) i will post it up as before.
Next (this 2008 year) Mark promises to be on a nitrous or turbo ZZR 1400. I cant wait!!!!
On the link to '2007 report' from the 'Retro Show' page, the black scooter at the top of the page was a novelty also. It was multi cylinder (twin i believe) with some sort of crazy automatic gearbox (single gear all the way to the end) and a carbon fibre body!!!!!
Sounded very odd and went very well.
Roll on 2008 season.

all I am interested in is seeing some decent support for Uttoxeter
sorry Bedlow
I don't mean to deflect from your Rally but after last year's dismal turnout at Uttoxeter I am now actively looking firm commitment's for this event
Buck's is allway's well attended
Uttoxeter is a very high profile event and a good Club stand is needed
so who's first with support
way too many Zeds
