Picked the Z1B frame up from triple s last sat. Only took them 4 days to powdercoat the frame and top yoke (thanks mr Doran)
Its actually an American import but I don't like the sticker on the headstock so I asked them to try and leave the numbers visable. I'm making it into a UK model but won't be perfect, just clean and usable. I had the bodywork done a few months ago so thought it about time I got on with it . been a bit under the weather this week so not much done but hopefully more next weekend

Just been and fitted the yokes and clocks. The new fork dust covers I've been sent are too small so can't go any further with the front end for now.

Spent an hour yesterday in the workshop. Rear wheel etc fitted and gave the forks a wipe over . I want to get some new stainless nuts and bolts but I'm trying not to get it looking too over restored (if that makes sense).
Going to try some cleaning stuff from work on the engine over the weekend.

Hi Pete, don't get too many partrs on bike if your going to place frame over engine. Otherwise you might have to get Stivvy to help lift it in from the side and you don't want him hurting himself! All the best Jim

Stivys too old now jim. Last one I put in crabby hinchy and me took just 30 secs to put in. Couldn't believe how easy it went in. I might take a picture of us putting this one in if it goes as easy.

Put the front wheel in this afternoon so I could fit the brakes and bleed them up. Got to take the wheel out later so my mate can fit my new spokes.
