I've disconnected mine now - and whilst doing that, noticed that only the black wires were linked to the loom = the brown & pink (?) were not - thats why it didn;t work.
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

'Tis a hazard switch on mine.
Handy for filtering on Belgiun motorways.

hazard switch was only fitted to us bikes. uk bikes had a side stand override switch & if you press the switch it allows you to put the bike onto the side stand without the engine cutting out

Tis a hazard switch Piggy.
However with some surgery and a double pole relay you can adapt it to switch the lights like wot I have, as the CSR being American had them on continuosly which made starting the dam thing problematic

Mine is a sprung switch - not 0n/off clicky?

Not so. Mine is a general European model.

Not so. Mine is a general European model.


My bike would start only with side stand UP - but would continue running if you put it down. It appeared to only cut the power to starter solenoid - not ignition (sparks).

But it only had the 2 x Black wires connected, not the other x2.
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!
