THE WIDOW SHAKER............................... What could possibly go wrong?
I've had this for a while.......
But only picked this up today!........
Plan is to combine the two.
I know it's all been done before, but not by me.
Colin Furze documents it well here..... http://www.colinfurze.com/diy-fast-scooter.html
I don't plan mine to be a 'stealth' scooter, I want that motor on show!
Project already has 'wheelie' bars..........
Although they might need extending.
'Bull' bar too, although that'll need a bit of 'love'.

I can't 'focus' too much on this project at the moment. My priority is to get the 'Budget' Z900 on the road. I'm just waiting for a dry day to take it for it's first ride, then depending how that goes, I can get it MOT'd.
Did find a couple of hours to remove all the body work & clean of a good accumulation of cobwebs, dead woodlice & a fair amount of what looked like mouse shit.
Strange thing was it actually started working today, I guess it had been stored outside or in a damp shed & the moisture had gotten into the electronics. A night in my warm dry garage made all the difference. I did think briefly about putting it all back together, giving it a quick polish & moving it on, but then stupidity got the better of me again & I carried on pulling it apart.
Couple of pics of it without clothes. The whole subframe with the motor, axle etc just slides out.
My initial thoughts are to fit a front engine mount to the seat post & build a new subframe that will be permanently fitted to mount the engine & rear axle.
Wheelbase will be extended by around 250mm & hopefully the exhaust headers will be far enough under the seat to avoid easily burning the backs of you legs.
