Or modify the original like I did on page 18 of my project.

Thanks Mate,

Got in contact with Joe at Pit stop and he's sending me one out, I don't have a spare case so couldn't mod it, still like your thread!

Sent an email to Harris on Sunday night, still waiting for a reply.

Massive hold on this project at the moment, have the Son's Land Rover project on the go, bought Pauls Z1000R out of the blue and the wife's Turbo on her Golf has just blown (after a week of buying it private)

So I have been doing things when I have money and time!

Managed a few hours today and sort of wired up the dyna system, got new carb rubbers and bolted in the electric tray. Cocked up with this, measured twice and still drilled the holes in the wrong place, once fitted you can't tell but I'll know its not perfect so will more than likely redo it once I come to do the 2nd build!

Anyway here you go! I'll do a bit more tomorrow as we have storms forecasted, 34 degs and bloody storms, I hate living in a tropical climate :D

Good news,

The wife has made me take the Harris off eBay!

So with this I have bought an oil cooler, voltage regulator, gear linkage, oil pickups, rear master cylinder, APE oil breather cover so this lot should kick start the project off again! Just need the lines and would like the nice black ones from Torque :D

Hopefully in the next week or two I'll be posting pictures again!

Glad to see your going to finish it.

It was a lot of heartache to get it to where it is.

For the amount you have spent already a few hundred to get it wired professionally would be money well spent.

Or fly me out on an all expenses paid trip and I'll do it for you.

Mind you the philip Island classic is over so there is nothing else in OZ of interest.

Well ordered some parts which have started to turn up!
7 row oil cooler
R6 gear change set up
APE Low profile oil breather
APE Low profile oil filter housing
Voltage regulator/rectifier
Oil cooler pick ups
Clutch cable
Brembo rear master cylinder lever
So this weekend, after some house jobs I will be tinkering again in the man cave, listening to 80's music and drinking Stella with the Mrs :D

Did a couple of jobs on the Harris this weekend, went to fit the R6 gear linkage and its the wrong angle so back to the drawing board on that one, didn't have the right bolts to mount the oil cooler, will get some today. So thought I'd fit the rear lights, quite happy with the results, think it suits the style of the bike!

Finally got the low profile oil filter cover, so fitted that. Been emailing Alex from Torque, turns out I've bought the wrong cooler  so I will look on the web tonight and see if I can find a AN-6 type, how many rows does everyone usually buy? Spoke to Joe @ Pitstop and he actually doesn't recommend fitting one so I thinking 7 row to keep the pressure up!

Thoughts and comments appreciated.

Thanks Geoff, reckon a 7 row would do there around the same size as the GPz ones, 13 row would look better but I don't think you'd see it with the fairing on anyway!

13 row will be a bit tight if you're running the hoses over the top of the motor. 7 or 10 row would be better.

What fittings do you have on the cooler you've bought. AN-8, 1/2"BSP?

GB Alex has said get an AN-6 cooler and he'd be right to supply the fittings and hose that would match the take offs, see this is far more time consuming than a strip and rebuild :D

the next bike I buy will be a complete one
