Rear brake shoe carrier

#1 PostAuthor: warren3200gt » Sun Apr 03, 2016 8:51 pm

I've spent the day renovating my 3 spoke cma's off a 900 for my current 650 rebuild. The rear brake shoe carrier is obviously sand cast as the outer surface is as rough as anything, yet the sprocket carrier is smooth polished. When did they change to a smoooth polished finish on the brake shoe carrier?
Just trying to work out what I've got.

Hmmm, thats what I suspected.
Can you identify these then? They have made in Japan on the inside.
Going to need to identify them to get replacement chain sprockets and shoes.

Good shout, that would explain it. So we do think they are 900 bits?

They do look the same as my A4. Inside pic showing pad mounts.
