Rear Axle

#1 PostAuthor: BigZCas » Sat Jan 21, 2017 5:37 pm

Hello all :)
Can someone please advise?
I have assembled the rear wheel back into my Z1000a2 and I am not sure whether the spacer washer goes between the wheel adjuster and the castle nut or between the wheel adjuster and the wheel spacer ?
It was between the wheel adjuster and the wheel spacer when I stripped it but not sure this was correct.
Any help thanks...
Steve

Hello and thanks,
This is the diagram that I have been using, the item in question is 3.
As you look from the back of the bike should this be on the left of the adjuster next to the castle nut or on the right of the adjuster next to item 24 as it was when I stripped it. I think it should go against the castle nut so that the axle is pulled through enough for the location of the adjuster on the plain part of the axle ?
