Z900 Top Fork Bolt

#1 PostAuthor: Andrew_s » Mon May 29, 2017 12:34 pm

I plan to remove and replace the top fork bolts on the Z900, but are the springs preloaded?

Cheers
Andrew

They are slightly, put it on center stand and put a chock under the frame at the front, or strap the rear end down so the front wheel is off the ground. Then with a socket just unscrew them. If the wheel is still on the ground then just do 1 at once, very easy to do. Push down on the socket as you get to the last bits of thread, same putting them back, you can push them down ok.
