Exhaust Chrome cleaning
Other than the usual Autosol etc, what's the best trick for cleaning the down pipes on my Z1000 4 into 1 system - It's particularly the underneath of the pipes where it is difficult to get to that needs attention - Seen YouTube clips etc on using bleach products like Harpic 10 etc - Has anyone used this method as I don't want to bugger up my pipes !! Thanks

You could try the stuff below but pretty much anything you use is going to require a certain amount of elbow grease on the staining to remove. I don't think there's such a thing as a simple spray on - Wash off product that can restore Chrome.... sadly.

Re: Exhaust Chrome cleaning
Soap and water for general cleaning, white spirit for oils and tar, any polish will gradually remove the chrome, there is no magic cure for blueing on single walled pipes, you just have to get on with it.
