TestinG the water, possibly for sale Z900 motor, I have sold my Harris frame so no need for two Zed motors on the bench, this one came out of my chopped A4, has been stripped down cleaned, checked and reassembled with full new gasket kit and new rings from AMD pistons, work done by Tim Penman at Dunkirk motorcycles Chester, (also owns a 72 Z1), 903cc block, engine number looks to be 1976 z900 A4, we will be building it up and putting it back in the bike to run it up unless a decent offer is received, for sale as my other engine is 1045cc forged pistons welded crank etc. So gauging interest may sling it on that there auction site. Thanks for loozing.

Would it fit a Z1000a framed you know? Otherwise you don't happen to know anyone with a spare head, for a z1000a, either do you?

YES! it goes straight in.
All z900/z1000 kickstart motors are basically the same thing.
Same goes for the head which is the same casting throughout except the 900's have 6mm exhaust studs and the 1000's are 8mm.
