Garage refit and I found One for the train spotters !

#1 PostAuthor: csx355 » Thu Oct 12, 2017 6:39 pm

New arrivals mean that room for manoeuvres is getting tight in the workshop. So in a moment of madness I thought that the lighter weight members of the csx collection would sit nicely on a custom made high level support system (read scaffold rack) whilst allowing me room under as well. Gave me a photo opportunity anyway.

No prizes but anyone recognise the little beasty with tank mounted hand shift, lever throttle and girder forks?

Adler 125

That's a guess based on the Bantam and Yamaha Dragonfly being copies of the Adler

As it happens I found a Bantam lurking in the back of the shed as well - I think it has what an estate agent might call 'Patina' !! 1956 D3 150 3speed

Nope not an Adler - Next clue - 63cc Barely a Horsepower I reckon.

Not an NSU -

another clue - It's not an obscure brand or a bourne again make.

A guess would be a motobecane

On the nose.
A 1949 Motobecane Poney (Mobylette)

I had never heard of one - but it was cute - and I could lift it up and put it on a shelf.

By yourself or with a significant other?

If you want a job done properly . . .
