Hi BigZcas

hope to help you a bit.
The revcounter loom has 3 bulbs, 2 for the light and 1 for the stop lamp.
The 2 light bulbs have a blue and a black/yellow wire.
The stop lamp bulb has a brown and a white/green wire. This one must be placed in the hole of the revcounter where the red plastic is visible.
Put the bulbs in their correct holes.
Make sure they're in completely, it might be a bit difficult due to the age of the rubber insulator, it becomes hard with age. Use a bit of liquid grease (WD 40).
Now we come to the matter to mount the revcounter on the meter bracket.
Check to see if the black foam on the bracket is in good condition. If not, remove the foam and replace it.
A good alternative is thin insulation foam with an adhesive back. Use the black foam, not the white.
Cut out the contours roughly and place it on the meter bracket after you cleaned and degreased the bracket.
Now clean up the contours and make the holes in the foam.
When placing the revcounter, start with pulling the electrical wires through the center opening of the meter bracket.
Put the two bolts through the openings in the meter bracket. Put the metal collar in the damper rubber and push it over the bolt. Put the plain washer and then the spring washer over the bolt. Finally put the M5 nut on the bolt and tighten it. Don't overdo it!
When mounted, the meters must have a little bit of play but they must be mounted level to the meter bracket.
Quite an explanation, I know, try it out.
Good luck!
Greetings from Belgium

Hello Philippe,
Thank you for the detailed instructions :)
When you say push in completely, do you mean so the back of the bulb holder is flush or so the last bit of the bulb holder still stands proud 4mm :?: :??
Should the wires point to the centre once inserted or to the sides :?:
Thanks
Cas

Hi Cas

i ment that the last bit of the rubber insulator should stand out a few millimeters.
And yes, the wires should point out to the centre as to get away from the bracket.
I know it's difficult but take a look at the wires, some are longer than others, try to figure out which light bulb goes into the top of the rev counter and which one goes at the bottom, run the wires along the centre of the rev counter so it's easier to put the loom through the hole of the braket.
Try to avoid that the wires run between the rev counter body and the bracket.
If my explanation is not clear let me know, I'll try to take a picture...(one image says more than one thousend words)
Good luck
Philippe
