Wanted upgraded brakes for z1000
Looking to up grade the brakes on my z1000, anyone got any lockeed ,harrison billet , pretech cailpers, wanting to swap for beer vouchers ???

i fitted a ap master cylinder to the standard calipers on me z1a .there sound now

New Grimeca Lockheed copies are about £120 each with average pads included, but a lot of caliper for the money. You'll need to make your own brackets.

If you want to use a single calliper, I've got an as new Harrison "Billet-6" - not sure what is was meant for but it includes new pads!

I have a pair of 4's (edited thought they were 6s haven't had them out of the box for a few years) off one of my Z1000's might be willing to sell.

Just fit EBC discs and modern Dunlopads, synthetic race fluid, bingo! As good as modern bikes

I had a set on one of my other bikes and they are brilliant bolt on on solution.
Good luck with them Stempy.
Best thing with the back is just dont use it !! You wont need to with those harrisons.

Going to wait to see about the rear ,as the front should be a great improvement .
