I guess he has either lost interest, and/or needs some cash ?

They ain't inexpensive though, and by the time they are landed and shipping and taxes and duty paid in the UK - they will be a whole lot more.

I think were I in the market, I would be looking at bikes already on this side of the pond and preferably original UK imports.
Why do I persist in debating with idiots ? I really should know better :)

Genuine UK H1/2's are pretty rare though and people have always been prepared to pay a premium for Ricks Bikes. Let's be honest if you're going to buy a Triple then many buyers would prefer to buy from the Worlds foremost collector rather than some random Bloke off ebay.

Note he has a NOS H2C in Candy Purple (the most valuable model) unused, no miles and never had fuel in. Hardly something that pops up at D&K every week. I'd wager there are plenty of UK buyers more than happy to pay whatever he wants + shipping costs to own a pretty much unique example of one of KHI's finest.

So now I read that people (whoever they are) are prepared to pay a premium for Rick's old bikes. I also read that (are they the same ?) people are prepared to pay a premium for original UK bikes. Unless someone like John Lennon has owned the vehicle before, I really do not care who the last owner was.... and even then, if the bike is tatty I will still go for a tidy UK bike....but damn, there goes that premium thing again

Some days you just cannot win :wow

I do have a patch of grass in my lawn that came from a Premier League football pitch a few years back when they changed the pitch, I am sure that Gazza and Gary Linker will have walked on it (maybe, possibly) I wonder what that is worth ? Wow - it is UK grass too, add two zero's :blah

I know!.

Maybe get Mick Grant to ride a H2 over your patch of Lawn and it'll be worth even more.
