Z1a Chain Oiler Pump

#1 PostAuthor: BigZCas » Tue Apr 17, 2018 8:39 am

Can anyone advise what the O Ring (92055053) is for that fits onto the pump drive shaft ?
Do I still require the O Ring if I am not actually running oil through ?
Is it OK to run the chain oiler pump without chain oil ?
:??
Thanks for any advice.

The oil in the pump probably helps to lube the pump itself, so I'd say don't run it without oil. I've never worked out why my A4 came without the pump but it seems ok without it, just need to lube the chain directly.

Anyone got one of these special O Rings they could spare ?
Really don't want to pay £15 shipping for a €4 part :(
