Hiya,Was wondering if it’s possible to change the outside airbox to carb inlet rubber with carbs and airbox in situ ? I think probably not but thought I would check first

It is possible, easier to do centre ones first as long as new and pliable, get them over carb inlet first then use long blunt small tyre levers to get into airbox, note centre ones are diff to the outers.

Thanks Paul
All 4 were new when I completed my resto but the left outer has some nasty cracking to the rubber. They are originals from Cradley Heath.
Will give it a go

Re: Airbox to carb inlet rubber
I prefer to use pattern rubbers now after having a couple of NOS sets do the same, although it's good to use original if possible when it comes to rubber items I'm not so sure, rubber doesn't like being maybe forty years old even if it is in a bag.
Easy enough to change and a bit of silicone spray can help.
