The wires from the Tacho are Brown (live), Black (coil - pulse for revs) and blk/yellow (to speedo sensor.
I have a mechanical speedo - so No sensor.
Anyone know if the Tacho will work with just the Brown live & Black - coil connections

I have a GPz front end fitted to my GSX1100...

To answer my own question - YES
The Brown is a constant live feed - the Black is the “pulse” from the coil.
