Is this a Z900 or Z1000 Airbox?
Just wondering if anyone can help me by identifying what I have here? I need an airbox for my Z1000A1 but am not sure if this is the Z900A4 one? Bike is in bits so not able to try it for size. Thanks.

Looks exactly like my 900A4 airbox but without the filter cover and snorkel, sell it for a fortune and buy this for half the price --> https://www.ebay.ie/itm/Kawasaki-Z1000- ... SwfshbBaBh

Looks like an A4 one to me but the z1000 does look the same, but is actually a slightly different height.
I have both here to compare if needed. off the top of my head the z900 air filter element is slightly longer then the z1000 one. So you should be able to figure it out with a filter element.
If not, I can get mine and compare here, if that helps.

Not 650, 900 or 1000. I don't even think its kawasaki. Kawasaki didn't make an airbox where the carb hoses could be removed with the box front face all in one piece.

Re: Is this a Z900 or Z1000 Airbox?
I've just checked, my A4 is in bits so it was just a matter of taking some pics, I will say it's a UK bike, had original exhausts, long rear mudguard, original switch gear etc. etc. so I find it hard to believe that someone took out the airbox and then replaced it with this
But hey if I'm wrong I'm wrong and we need to find out what airbox this is, cuz it fits like a glove
EDIT Actually looking at it, it is slightly different, the filter stack is longer on mine and the front top moulding is also slightly different

Re: Is this a Z900 or Z1000 Airbox?
Thank you all.
The air filter fitted in my photos is for a Z1000 and it fits like a glove. I didnt realise that the Z900 uses a longer filter (the taller filter stack is shown in the other photos kindly posted) so it looks like I have a Z1000 airbox.
Cheers,
Rob

Rog, I think the item in the link you posted is the silencer that connects onto the Z1000 airbox

Intrigued now, my airbox doesn't have a detachable front face. Why do pics upload upside down from android?
