Are the Haynes Manual worth the bother just want to get a better insight into how the front axel is put together

theyre ok for most z9/z1000 stuff but have a bad press for wrong valve/shim clearances. ok otherwise. particularly useful for the gap on the left hand fork bottom/spindle cap area. pm if you want one.. mark

Go onto cmsnl.com. They have exploded parts diagrams.

Haynes manuals are awful. Clymer a better choice.

The Haynes manuals for the z900/1000 are a bit naff, but better than nothing. You really can't beat the factory manuals IMHO.
