Does anyone have a dimensioned drawing
of the std piston liner? I need to get a new set
and LA Liners are expensive so need to send
Westwood a drawing to get a quote.

Re: Piston Liners Z1
mike, i recently did a Google search for "cylinder liners uk" or summit similar, it threw up various specialist companies willing to undertake small or one off orders, obviously providing an original as a pattern should negate the f'up risk.keep us all posted if you have a result eh? cheers mark

Re: Piston Liners Z1
Have I used SEP?
Yes a few years back and I ended up with
a block weighing 3x as much as they got
something wrong and had to bore the block &
provide larger OD liners and to add to my
grief they forgot to put the chamfer on too.
I’m an eng so set up on a mill and did it.
Oh and the liners wouldn’t pass into too crankcase
so has to bore that too
Never again.

I wouldn't go to SEP for a shite nowadays.
Their service is utterly and embarrassingly abysmal

Hi Mike .What about just buying another set of S/H std liners = very easy to swap them over... 30mins @ 125 c in the oven = & they fall out ! or S/H complete barrel assy and have them honed if there OK ....or rebored to first oversize if there not ( Ebay USA seem to have em cheap quite often ..but P & P there is now outrageous ! ) ! best try & find them in the UK aye !
I bought new Std size L.A .Liners once and they still had to be bored & honed !!! yeh, they didn't arrive the finished size.. now where near ....I couldn't believe it ...what an arse ache & rip off !!! Good luck bud .
