A mate is looking to sell this bike. I used to own it and its very original and unrestored. I will post more info if needed but message me on here or post on this thread if you are genuine and have 16k to spend.
If I didnt already have too much stuff then I would buy it back because its a great bike.
I will pass on details as the owner is not on here.
I can probably also answer most questions as I imported it and owned it for 10 years.

If i had the money I would have that. It is an absolute steel at that price.

I would wish you luck with the sale but you won't need it.

Maybe a bit controversial but , this is how things can look to other people;

when you had this bike on ebay you said it would break your heart to sell it

this really infers that you were the owner and seller? never mentioned selling for a mate (buts thats ok as its ebay and might put people off)

then it was bid to £15,900 and not make its reserve

you then advertise to club members at £16,000

& you confirm that you dont actually own it , and havent done so for years, but imported it (so thats ok as its being honest on the forum)

during the course of bidding on ebay there were a few retractions, and a bit of jiggery pokery or idiots with the buttons.

So my question is , when on ebay and you hosted the sale , did or could the actual owner have shill bid it to within £100 of the reserve , not managing to push the other bidders over the reserve ? obviously not letting you know this

Now your answer is obviously going to be no, but you have to understand people on here look at ebay and whats on sale here

TBH honest offering it to club members at a higher price than market value is pretty poor anyway in my book, market value in this case is £15,900?, funny how the owner / seller or combination couldn't make a deal with the highest bidder for the sake of £100 on a 16 grand deal, but maybe unknown to the seller highest bidder owned it already( ?)

Now I say this as I have been conned by shill bidding in the past on a kawasaki four by lets say somebody a lot of people know, and really cant abide the scum who descend to that level .

Anyway I'm sure you can vouch for the above just me being paranoid and the £15900 was a genuine bid but it was impossible to agree on the last £100 .
yes you can have too many bikes

how do you know the reserve was 16000, it may have been higher , personaly it looks to be worth 16000 and if you were going to buy it you would view it before parting with the money , i cant see a problem

I’m sure this will be addressed but my reading is that the bike has been sold to a friend since the eBay auction and the new owner is now selling again. Don’t know about the eBay reserve and all this is out of my price bracket anyway but in today’s market £16k seems reasonable

Ha ha , have a moan sure , miserable and tight ? Emm no as the seller knows , the miserable and tight applies to the west coasters , It's not s bad price at all and if I wanted that z1 I'd buy it tomorrow at that price , you completely miss the point of the post , which if you take the time to read it you might understand how things can look, which is what I said

When you've been at the tail end of shill bidding by respected Kawasaki enthusiasts you start to see the cracks
