Brake calliper hose fitting???

#1 PostAuthor: Pigford » Tue Apr 30, 2019 7:37 am

The hydraulic fitting into the front callipers is a short/stubby male connector, for the hard pipe.
I want to fit a flexi directly to it and a banjo type fitting won’t work as the screw/bolt is too long.
What fitting adapter do I need to use?
Cheers

I think it is M10 x 1.25 pitch screws into the caliper. You don't mention what you already have on the end of your flexi but if it is female M10 x 1.25. This should do.

If you don't yet have a hose, you need this on the end of the hose you get to suit the thread in the caliper, I will check what that is shortly...

PS, I will shortly be set up to make custom Goodridge and standard style brake hoses.
Cheers,

Mark.

Thanx both Zed Head & Mark :up

I don't have any hoses yet - so if it's not going to be too long mark, I'd be up for a quote/purchase pleeze?

It could be a couple of weeks, I'm refusing to hand over the cash for the machine until they sort out dies to make OEM style hoses, so I can make replicas, but also OEM style to custom lengths if needed.
Cheers,

Mark.
