Are Ikon shocks any good for a Z1R ? They are on special offer at the minute 325 quid a pair.

They are supposed to be exactly same as Koni dial a rides which I have on my Z1R and Guzzi lemon and I very much like them. Just put Ikons on my z13 along with Ikon fork springs and must say impressed with ride quality

Had an overlong set on my Z1000J, they worked fine but were too long with my swingarm.
An expanding collection of parts pretending to be a Z1100R and a Yamaha FZ750

Thread stealing I know but It'll cost more to have my original Koni's serviced that buying a replacement set of Ikon's.

why not save a few quid n buy some uk made hagons? about £180 a pair. or uk made tec shocks? even cheaper!..

Is there any perceived benefit of the Ikons over Hagons?

Both look very similar to the original fitment which is something I want besides half decent suspension.
