Also current advice suggests using B7ES with modern shite fuel, less fouling, cleaner running :D

My brother has had Champions in his Z1B since about the start of the year and he thinks it’s starting better and is pleased with them so far. It wasn’t starting badly btw it’s just starting better. I’ve a set in the drawer to try but haven’t as yet so can’t comment. Times do change we all shifted to Denso for a while as NGK went through a real bad patch a number of years ago then they seemed to change the Densos and they were as bad. Champions are just another option.

A lot of this could be to do with changes in fuel

Weren't some of these spark plug issues related to cheap copies bought off the interweb ? (i.e. not genuine NGKs, etc)

Always use Denso’s now. NGK do not seem to last. Yes I do buy them from a local NGK approved motorcycle dealer - not from a website.

Remove a cylinder & add some Two-Stroke and you'll get an even wider range of opinions on which is the best (or worst) brand/type/heat range of Plug. Even Kawasaki didn't trust them so they gave you 3 spares under your seat  .
