If the post has not been removed but is in moderation for consideration what is the point in posting a running commentary about a thread that people can’t see? If it was totally removed that would then be explained.

As far as “transparency” goes moderators have no interest in hiding stuff. All admin are generally doing is trying to contain petty bickering.

When a rare and much sought after bike is put up for sale at a great price in probably perfect condition for a lot of people on here ie in boxes it is bound to raise suspicions when it mysteriously disappears, havent seen too many other threads removed for the moderators collective perusal.

Considering it was sold before most people get up in the morning, why argue about shit that doesn't matter, there's Facebook for that.

Everything matters.
It's just that somethings are more important than others. What is important to one person is not important to another.
What I find is things appear more important when someone reaches retirement age. When they have more time on there hands to ponder.
PS - I aint retired yet, so I dont care a smidge.

If I had the room it would be with me by now. Apart from a few cosmetics and assembly it sounds pretty much done.

Well it turns out it wasn't sold at all in the end
Just to make things clear, despite my best efforts to view and buy this bike (I had a van at the ready to go). The first I knew about the sale falling through was via text message with the same content as the sellers last post! To say I'm disappointed would be an understatement but there you go, we live and learn. I'm sure the seller has his reasons?
