For Sale, much regrettable sale of my slightly customised Z1000A1 tank, panels, and tailpiece, all brand new gloss black A2 paintwork, ie: as per the US model. All correct gold pinstripes by Image Works, on top of tank below the filler cap, are two photo stickers of my late lovely wife, wanted this as a tribute to her after she passed away several years ago, first met her when I originally had this bike 43yrs back, and we went all over on it, sentimental old Hector! Had it fitted to bike for 2-3 weeks, then just lost heart
it’s been wrapped up in the back room ever since. Tank was all painted first, then stickers applied and lacquered over, should be fairly easy to restore to completely std, also tank was professionally lined inside to withstand modern fuels, this set means an awful lot to me, but needs must I’m afraid, £895. I’ve also got brand NOS badges and new genuine filler cap, and brand new OE fuel tap, all available by separate negotiations
