Z1000A1 OEM Exhaust hanger brackets.
Hi All,
I’m a new member to this forum but not to the world of the big Z’s.
I’m now part of the Z1000 exhaust system group buy but one of the problems I have is that I’ve never had any OEM exhaust hanger brackets for my A1.
I know this is a massive ask but does anyone have a pair that they might want to part company with?
Any condition would be considered so please let me know if you can help.
Many Thanks.

I'm still working on getting some reproduced, but so far the costs for tooling are a bit silly...
I will post news when I have it.

If anyone has a pair I could borrow I would look at making a couple of sets. Not saying they would be identical to OEM but would be as close as "value engineering " would allow.
It is something I have to do with unobtainable parts for another one of my hobbies.

Hard to make something from flat plate as they quite a deep pressed design from 2mm thick steel..

I have a fly press, and big hammer if that fails! That's where value engineering comes in, I would aim to make them visually similar but doubt if they would pass rivet counter scrutiny

Originals in rust and paint, my replicas are the shiny ones. An example of big hammer and mig welder value engineering. [img]
Re: Z1000A1 OEM Exhaust hanger brackets.
No disrespect but they don't look like the exhaust hangers I've seen , maybe I'm wrong ??????

Thanks Bill, I agree these don't look like original exhaust hangers, that could be because they ain't
Just an example of what a hammer and welder can copy when genuine parts are no longer available
Without a set to copy though, guess I will have to resort to a bit of Dexion and a large hose clip

Re: Z1000A1 OEM Exhaust hanger brackets.
Dexion is fine for non rivet counters like me

Hi Ratty
I have a pair of the original exhaust hangers, I'll take some pictures tomorrow and take some measurements.
