CNC parts being made.

#1 PostAuthor: buzzard » Tue Jan 14, 2020 7:14 pm

I'm having some parts CNC made by Fastec Racing, some oil cooler pipe take off parts, £100 to £150, just interested if anyone would want to purchase some, price is very dependant on quantities so I'm just seeing if there's any demand. Also maybe having the four engine brackets for Z1, Z1A,Z1B CNC made out of ally but that depends on quantities again. Had the quote. Sorry its abit vague, just testing the water. Thanks. Sounds interesting Dave. Good luck with this, I'm sure it'll do well.

Dave,

You can get takeoffs for about $70 from the USA but with shipping/duty etc I'd guess close to $100 ish delivered to UK. Maybe a bit more.
So I'd say £100 not out of the ballpark but £150 probably a bit expensive.

Chris, it's all about the amount you have made to get the price down hut you know that, it's abit borderline but if you make enough the price comes down considerably, at the moment I'm looking at 12 sets but that's still a load of money. It's the same with the engine brackets. Just trying to get some stuff made. Buzzard@thebuzzworkz.

I'd be keen on the 2 front engine brackets as I have an a4.
Maybe worth a thought?
