Z1000A1 Handlebars

#1 PostAuthor: r3sc » Fri Dec 13, 2019 6:11 pm

Does anyone have a set of straight OEM handlebars for an A1 for sale?

Must be the OEM ones with the holes for internal wiring and with the central boss.

Cheers

Would it help you to have some measurements for stock a 1 bars there are a few bars in the market that are very similar in size and shape I found the problem with second-hand bars is there often bent they can be straightened but it's hard and makes the bike feel horrid when riding I too am looking for standard dimension bars for Mark 2, st, z1300
They're all different if you know what you're looking for for the racing Suzuki bars from the GT 750 I believe the very very close

Hi Guys,
Thank you very much for the input, much appreciated.

There are a number of bars out there that would do the job for sure and I could easily obtain a set with the holes for the original wiring. In fact, I have looked at a set from an early CB750 with the holes for the internal wiring and I really like the feel of those as they are a little more swept back.

I do have a set of OEM bars but they are slightly bent on one side.

The issue I have is that none of the alternative bars available have the larger diameter strengthening section between the clamps and I really want this feature for originality.

I’ll have to keep on with the search until I find a set.

Regards.
