Z1100R 4 into 1 exhaust

#1 PostAuthor: DerekB01 » Wed Apr 08, 2020 11:51 pm

Anyone out there have an exhaust to fit a Z1100r that they want to get rid of please? I am in the process of rebuilding the bike which had a Harris on it when I bought it but it has sat for 15 years or more and is inevitably rotten beyond repair. I first bought the bike back in 1986 and owned it for over ten years during which time it was my pride and joy. Family commitments meant I eventually had to sell it and my brother in law bought it off me, however he didn’t look after it and it eventually ended up sitting outside in his garden uncovered for many years unused until I finally persuaded him to let me buy it back. Mostly done now though but missing an exhaust......

You can get new from Delkevic or Kerker
I'll probably have a set of Kerker front pipes for sale in a couple of weeks, but you'll need a silencer, Delkevic silencer will fit.
An expanding collection of parts pretending to be a Z1100R and a Yamaha FZ750

Delkavic is a good option and price especially for stainless but I am not sure I like the curve where the headers meet the collector, fussy I know. Also contacted Exhaustcraft as his systems look great but having mostly blown my meagre budget already I thought it work asking around in case anyone had anything surplus. Are your down pipes black?
