First ride out today since Sept 19!

Just been out on the A1 for the first time since September last year and the first time since carb overhaul and new bars/switchgear etc.

Can’t believe how well it goes now the carbs are right and in balance.

Just got an annoying weep from a couple of the float bowl drain screws even with new o rings so will get that sorted tomorrow!

Also had to strip and re seal one of the front calipers as I found it was a little damp round the piston When cleaning it.

The frame and running gear is all on its original paint except for the stands and is looking a little tired in places, plus the engine needs cleaning in places that I can’t get to while it’s in the frame so next winter it may be a complete pull apart.

I have a really nice set of OEM wheels with Takasago rims ready to go on along with a set of the Busso exhausts from the group buy so it should look even better towards the end of 2021!
