Evening Amigos.
I've managed to get a seized mixture screw out but still have some debris to clear out from the threads.
Once this is done I want to buy a tap to run down to clear any FOD.
Looking on the net I have seen thread measurements of M6x0.5 but also a dimension of a mixture screw thread of 5.9mm dia.
Would I be correct in thinking the tapped thread size is indeed 6x0.5 and the screw is merely 5.9 for clearance?
Thanks in advance.
Gus

Re: Carb mixture screw thread size.
Is this pilot fuel screw (underneath front) or air (on the side)? if underneath fuel screw 5mm x0.5, don't buy cheap taps either.

Hi Kev.
Sorry they are CV carbs off a Suzuki 2001 - 2006 Bandit Mikuni BSR36.
I suppose I was thinking there were standard type thread sizes across carbs
