Looking for Hodna/Dax/KV75 type Monkey bike to do as a little project for someone.

Not looking for a nice shiny one or equally a Box of bits though.

i restored this one about 11 years ago & its still looks as good now my brother in law paid £225 for it from a farmer & i restored it for him but they are fetching good money now even as a basket case

Very Nice. That's sort of the before/after I'd be looking for, but as you say prices are a little silly.

What is parts availability like?.

most parts are available i had a lot of stuff from david silver spares i bought aftermarket front & rear guards & tail lamp mounting bracket as they where better quality than genuine. the frame is powder coated to the exact H**** colour

KV75, i have a few of these...they are not cheap though, parts readily available form US and Canada

There's four up for auction at Mathewsons next weekend.....various types and reserves.....also a Brockhouse Corgi if you're that way inclined :lol:

Yep, seen them. Might throw in a remote bid. Interesting estimates but add on the buyers premium, VAT and collection/delivery etc and it starts to mount up.
